Called in a week ago to change my package - but yet they deduct the full amount!

Hi - I believe in being pro-active and this is exactly what I done. Called into the callcentre on 20 October 2016 to change my package from premium to extra - told it was be effective 27 October 2016 and then this morning a debit order deduction of R844.00 for the full premium amount - What happened to the promise that your package will be changed and the new amount will go off. Nonetheless I phoned their callcentre this morning and I was told that there was a technical error but the change has been done. Now I request a refund and the matter will be refunded after 7 days only? Unexceptable much - I wonder if this is because they are scared of me doing a stop payment - which I will not. Please rectify this matter

Dear Leigh-Roy

Apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.

As part of the procedure, we need to adhere to after a debit order payment went through is that we have to wait for 7days before we can process a refund, It is the reason why it takes 10 working days.

Please be patience the refund will be processed after seven working days.
