Bye bye after 30 years plus including working there in the early years
E48-32 FFS DSTV … been 30 plus years of subscription along with a few of the early works working for you but today it comes to an end. I cut the package down to minimum in December when your system returned this error. I left the decoders off for a few days and they sorted themselves out. Been away from a bit in January and on our return on Tuesday we were back to this screen. 2 days without power to the boxes and they still show this screen.
Gatvol now so I guess you can stick your 3 decades plus of subscribing where the sun don’t shine.
Time to turn you off and move on now …. Bye bye.

19 Jan 2024, 18:15Dear DSTV… we got back home on Tuesday night to no service. I have repeatedly tried to get the thing to work since Tuesday. I do not enjoy paying for a service that does not work. I just tired to cancel my service online line and guess what… the system will not let me do that either!!!!!!
I do not want you service anymore as it it way too unreliable and the only resolution your technical “boffins” have is that I replace all three decoders. That is NOT going to happen.
Also just a little observation here. My post above was yesterday st 19:40. I was surprised to see a reply from you not even an hour later but…. We are now heading for another day lost and the weekend of no working DSTV ahead and not a sole has attempted to make contact with me at all. In the early years some heads would have rolled for this. I did MNET station Chief Duty many times during those early years as I lived down the road in Blairgowrie drive and was always called upon when someone could not make their rostered duty. Customer Service was taken very seriously in those days!!! Clearly not the case today.
Can someone call me to cancel my service please.

23 Jan 2024, 13:39DSTV can you please explain to me what exactly the point is in having a "Hello Peter Team"??
No attempt at all has been made to make contact with me despite you telling me this would happen.
BTW - your brilliant solution to my issue was that I unplug three decoders, put then in the car and drive all the way to Randburg, stand in a queue for them to probably tell me to replace them.
How about telling a client get up on your roof and look at the health of your LMB!
Idiotic scripts written by technically devoid *****s being followed by you "customer care call centre" staff.
I am surprised you are indeed still in business and CHURN is not a lot higher then your financial reporting says it is.
