Bul**** out of right to vote with your wallet

Today I was handed over to a debt collector employed to use bully tactics on behalf of multichoice.

My agreement with mulitchoice was a pay as you go with premiums paid in advance and service supp**** for the term of the payment. After a number of months expectations on service delivery and experience were not matched. No further payments were made. Services were cut as per pay as you go terms.
Multichoice delayed in the cutting off of the service by a number of days which they cannot confirm and thus issued a request for payment for such days. This infringes on the right of the consumer to vote with their wallets with their company which is then futher backed up with threats of listing on the ITC for lack of payment of services delivered due to their ineffecient internal processes.
Call centre operator informed me of what I as a client am supposed to do and what my job requirement is with multichoice. My pay slip does not reflect multichoice as my employer.
Disgusting process of fleecing monies from customers
Money has been fleeced effeciently as the logic used by the call centre leaves one with the feeling on an ******** ITC listing been issued jeopardising credit record

Hello KlausRSA,

We do apologies for the inconvenience you experienced in this regard.

DStv service is a month-to-month contract - when you pay your subscription, the contract for that month is fixed.

It is the responsibility of the subscriber to inform MultiChoice that they will not be using the service for the upcoming month. Should this not happen the subscriber will be responsible for any amount that accumulated in his or her account.

According to our record we have no record that you requested your service to be disconnected .

Thank you for taking the time to point out our service failings. As we continually strive to improve our service, feedback such as yours is extremely valuable.

Your support, and that of all our customers, is important to us.

Regards
Rupert
