Box Office 5 free movie ****

<p>On DSTV Box office they are presently running a promo where it states categorically that you will receive 5 free movies from outsurance if you send the word quote to 30166. It then states T's and C's apply yet nowhere on dstv box office channel does it state where the T's and C's are nor does it state any limitations. I sent the word quote and was not credited with 5 free movies.</p> <p>When I complained to Box office they claimed I must read &nbsp;theT's and C's which is on outsurance website as well as box office website (something they could not refer to on the box office dstv screen?)</p> <p>Strange thing is this:</p> <p>1) On the T's and C's nowhere is it a condition that you must send the word quote to be credited with the movies (so how is this the tagline)</p> <p>2) It only applies to car insurance (so why did they not state car insurance on the box office channel)</p> <p>3) you have to send your latest policy schedule that contains all your confidential info and only then can you get credited (why did it not state this on the advert?)</p> <p>4) Why did box office not advise where the T's and C's are on the box office channel on DSTV? They even made an advert that you can watch yet even in the advert they dont once state car insurance or where the T's and C's are?</p> <p>The campaign is totally a sham and misleading the public. How can they possibly claim that you will get 5 free movies if you send quote when this is not even a condition to get the 5 free movies? The SMS is not a condition.&nbsp;</p> <p>The whole thing is a **** to make it seem like a simple easy process by just sending the word quote. How difficult would it be for DSTV to state the 3 min conditions. 1) Car insurace quote only 2) You must have existing insurance with a competitor to outsuarnce and send the schedule to outsurance 3) Send a copy of your ID so that Outsurance can credit your account. Surely this would discourage clients from sending the SMS. Again and I state again that anyone can check the conditions and the "Quote" sms is not one of the conditions and neither does it give you 5 free movies. False advertising. If anyone has a DSTV decoder go check box office for yourself and you will see what I am saying is true.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>On the same screenshot you can see that it does not advise what TandC&rsquo;s, secondly please advise where in the T and C&rsquo;s that it stipulates that that the word &ldquo;quote&rdquo; must be sent and you will be credited? Its not even in the T and C&rsquo;s the catchphrase that you claim triggers the 5 free movies?</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>I have attached the terms and conditions below for your reference &ndash; NO WHERE DOES IT STATE THAT &lsquo;QUOTE&rsquo; TRIGGERS 5 FREE MOVIES NEITHER IS IT CONDITIONAL TO RECEIVING THE MOVIES &ndash; IT IS A BLATENT LIE!!!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Why did your team not just state on the advert that if you get a car insurance quote, send your id number as well as your latest policy schedule (not older than 48 hours) outsurance will credit you with 5 free moves.Clearly your advert is misleading and a lie.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Please advise why you don&rsquo;t stipulate where the t and c are and for a client with no access to internet how will they possibly no this a false campaign!!!</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Look forward to hearing from you.</p>
