Beware of dstv whatsapp numbers, you will end up in the hole for premium channels you never requested
I've been with dstv for years now, due to covid I attempted to downgrade on the 7th but didn't complete transaction and on the 9th I did the same and was successful, I was informed it will start wef 15 August and to pay 81.29, on the 15th I paid R90. Backround information on the 4th of August I suddenly noticed I was able to watch all channels obviously it was open for all checked social media and it was so, I continued to receive the channels up until the 22nd when my services were cut, when I called I was informed I must pay over 900 and I explained to them, they didn't seem eager to assist me and insisted that I upgraded wef 15 August but I informed them that I've been watching premium from the 04th and have proof of downgrade have forwarded all the screenshots to Twitter and still the insist I owe them now 500 instead of 900. What I fail to understand is that they made a mistake, opening my channels, their what'sapp number being unreliable, they are penalizing me for their mistakes and I have proof.

What you obviously fail to understand is I don't delete messages and I will never ever in my life except in December upgrade to premium it's overrated and I only upgrade in December cause my kids are at home. I will be forwarding you all screenshots and I don't know why you are lying about me

That is false and send I've sent all screenshots and any and all communications to the what'sapp number from the beginning to your email address.

At 1433 I was getting confirmation of downgrade unlike what your system indicates and obviously is wrong

28 Aug 2020, 19:29Apparently I'm not allowed to repost my claim id resort to social media cause they are busy lying about me and abusing me financially.
These businesses lie and apparently I upgraded I have proof and have emailed and now I'm being ignored like a crazy person and I am going to start acting like a crazy person and I will be reporting them to the ombudsman if there is such until then I will be posting all the stuff they are doing to me and abusing me when all I ask is for them to follow their own rules and ask for my email by the way they never called me
These businesses lie and apparently I upgraded I have proof and have emailed and now I'm being ignored like a crazy person and I am going to start acting like a crazy person and I will be reporting them to the ombudsman if there is such until then I will be posting all the stuff they are doing to me and abusing me when all I ask is for them to follow their own rules and ask for my email by the way they never called me

05 Mar 2021, 15:21Id like to inform anyone interested in any issues with dstv please don't delete thee chats. They tried it with me and luckily i still have chats on my phone from 2018 to date.those things helped me not to be liable to pay almost 900 rands which for me was just too much.
My issue was resolved after i stalked each and everyone of their advents on Twitter and they tried to discredit me even though I had proof and i still do.
The follow up sucked and was stressful to be as I pride myself in living within my means and paying my bills.
Hellopeter helps but with some companies they will lie and **** like dstv tried with me. Keep records and record calls when dealing with dstv.
Thats my advice with regard to dstv.
If i didn't have the written proof in screen shots and emails id be liable to pay, they did try to disredit me here and everywhere else but im not made of money and can't afford to be ******.
