BBC New breaks filled with DSTV Adverts
Why does DSTV fill the BBC News breaks with adverts. You are the only satellite/cable provider that I've come across on my overseas travels that does that! Is it just pure greed? I find it extremely annoying, as they don't advertise any product or services etc, but use that opportunity to advise viewers on up and coming news items, documentaries, special broadcasts, series etc And we never get to see that (unless you happen to switch on a program you've been wanting to see just happens to start).

Dear Garry
The insertion of up and coming items for a channel, is part of the channel’s broadcast. Unfortunately, we have no editorial authority over the content or any of the content that channels scheduled to be aired.
We only provide a platform for broadcast, to the channels. With that being said we have forwarded your complaint to the channel for consideration.
Thank you for your insights.
Kind Regards
Elna
