Bad service multichoice port elizabeth

Just want to let everyone know about the bad service i received from multichoice in port elizabeth. I took my HD PVR in on Monday. When they checked it out,the lady that was helping me said that they cant replace it and instead i must get the DSTV explorer. She them said i had to pay in R1000 for it (while i have insurance on it). I said thats ridiculous, because why must i pay if i have insurance on a thing thats now faulty!! She then started giving me attitude. I then asked to call the manager and she said there is no manager. I asked to talk to someone that is higher than her and she said theres no one. I must deal with her. She then started getting very rude to me and then called her colleague to please explain to me. After much debate, she finally gave it without me having to pay anything. Which i cant understand all of the sudden!!! She then gave me the new DSTV explorer, which firstly did not come in a box and secondly with a remote. At this stage i was gatvol as i spent already 2hours in the branch. She told me the the decoder doesnt come in a box and i must buy my own remote. I again got into a debate with her. I then bought my own remote costing me R150. When i got home about 2 hours later, the same lady phoned me to tell me that she forgot to give me a box and that my remote is there. At this stage i cudnt deal with her stupidity anymore. I went back with the remote that i bought and demanded my money back. She first tells me that i did want two remotes so i must keep the one that i bought!!! I mean now? Seeiously? What must i do with two remotes? I then just took my things and left. I have no guarantee that the decoder i got was new,as it didnt come in a sealed box. I think the service is very pathetic and i am definately not going to leave it like this. I dont know how Multichoice can employ people like this. They do not deserve this job. Unless its just a money making thing and they dont care about their customers. I am trying to get in touch with the director of Multichoice in port elizabeth, otherwise i will take it further to the highest person in charge. I think we need new ownership for the multichoice in port elizabeth. They are not meeting the standards. Omar Mallick
