Bad service from DSTV (Multichoice)

I am writing this note in frustration after having called multichoice three weeks to activate the the price lock option. Post the initial call I was informed that my request had been recorded and a sales agent will get in touch with me within 48 hours. When the duration that was communicated to me had gone past, I called the dstv call centre to follow up seeing that the promise to contact me was not fulfilled and was informed that my concern was noted and escalated. A week later i was still in the same position and when i called in, I was told the same lame story. Today, the 4th of January I drove to the Randburg office and the attendants advised me that there is nothing they can do except follow the same frustrating process I had gone through for the past 2 weeks. 2 hours later a sales agent called me to obtain my details and process my application and committed to call me back to advise how the application will be concluded. Well, I am still in the same frustrating state as I was in 3 weeks back and left in the dark and with egg on my face. Dissapointing to say the least Multichoice. Is this the service you provide to loyal customers? 3 weeks for such a simple transaction? Could this be an unimportant revenue stream that you don't see anything wrong with dragging your feet and delivering poor customer service? What arrogance!

It seems the above was just a PR response and an effort to maintain a 100% response rate on this site. I am yet to be contacted as per the promise above. (or should i say the lie above). Nice touch Multichoice!
