Bad credit score

I have deactivated my account with Multichoice about 2 and a half years ago. About 8 months ago, my account was reactivated without my consent (Mistake from multichoice) and a debit went off on my bank account. After i confronted multichoice, they refunded me. Somehow my account was in arears after they refunded me and this led to my credit score being updated negatively. This has now effected my financial application by an institution and I cannot make any finance applications because my credit profile indicates that my account is in arrears with Multichoice. I have settled the outstanding amount, but my credit record has stil not been updated. I must suffer the consequences now, for a mistake that was not made by myelf.

I am baffled that big organisations can get away with such mistakes and the clients sit with the circumstances. customer services cannot help me at all when i ask them to speak to a authorised person that can email the credit bureau for the required information they need.

I have been sending multiple emails to ********** but have no response to my emails. This is an urgent matter, yet i get treated in a way that it is my problem to solve. How can companies do this to people and not deal with their own mistakes!!!????

I wil NEVER again in my entire life take out an account with DSTV again. What a helpless, poor, incompetant company! worst service ever!
