Providing proof of residence and your passport is not enough - not even if your employer accompanies you. According to Avinash' he needs the proof of employment and residence to be authenticated by SAPS. When told that even banks does not require such a procedure, he says rules are rules. He can't provide this supposed rule in writing or even per email. He phones in our presence - to enquire about the supposed rule, provides a wrong impression, leaves us and later comes back with an even worse attitude and say that he is not obliged to provide us with prove of this rule. Should you however go to DSTV in the CBD, they are friendly, and help without the superior attitude of Avinash.
