Annual Subscription changed to monthly.

I pay my annual subscription to DStv every year in July. in July 2015 I paid an amount of R9000 into their bank account via eft, this was allocated and in February this year, my services were disconnected. I called to find out the reason and was told that I needed to pay an amount outstanding. I explained to the consultant at that time that I pay my subscription annually and that there should be no reason for me being disconnected.

They informed me that my account was a monthly account and not annual and that the new tarrifs had kicked in and an amount was transferred to my holiday decoder. I asked for them to please change my account back to annual and correct my account with the relevant department. They said that they would escalate this and resolve the query.

For the last 8 weeks, I have had to reonnect my services at least once a week, everytime explaining my story to a new consultant, they reconnect and then exactly 5 or 6 days later the same call needs to be made.

An annual subscription last years was R779 per month that comes to an annual ammount of R8569.00 (R779 x 11) as the extra month is "free". I asked for the credit to be transferred to my holiday decoder (R431.00), in December 2015, I transferred another R1000.00 to be allocated to my holiday decoder.

I have asked multichoice to please rectify my account and reverse all other transactions on my account besides the monthly fee at (R779) and whatever services for the holiday decoder when it was used. NOTHING has been done. I have to spend 45 - 60mins on hold or disconnected every week for the past 8 weeks!

If this is not resolved within this week I will apporach the obudsman for recourse. I have spent close to R1500 on telephone costs to talk to someone who promises to fix and then does nothing, the line is always, I have made detailed notes on the system and will escalate this to my manager for him/her to take up with the accounts department.

Contact me ASAP on my cellphone to sort this **** out.
