Allowing people to use my details to access DSTV

I am moving and need my own decoder as I currently live at home.

So me being me I call the multichoice call centre to enquire about pricelock. The consultant asked me if i have an account and i said no (last had one in 2015). She advised that the account stays even when there is no decoder linked to it. I gave her my id nber which she confirmed that no decoder is linked to my account . She proceeded to update my details as they had my old cellphone number afterwards she educated me on the diffrent pricelock options. I asked to get a consultant to call me back. The following a consultant indeed called me back but i was busy and asked him to call me later and that never happened. I went onto the DSTV website this time and requested a call me back and that happened. The consultant advised me that she cannot finalise the application because there is a R98.00 outstanding. I advised the consultant that I do not own a decoder and she suggested I contact multichoice customer care to sort it out. I called and got through to a consultant who i explained everything to. This consultant advised me to take "THE DECODER" to the nearest sevice centre and they will remove it from my name after i told her i do not own a decoder. I requested to speak to a supervisor who advised me that a "Katleho" who is my brother calls in about this decoder. I tell the supervisor I do not have a brother named Katleho and I was asked to PROVE THAT FACT. Where would i find this person to have DNA tests done? Then she mentioned I must also get an affidavit which I refused. I asked her about security at Multichoice where it doesn't click fr them when the owner never calls. The supervisor suggested I get a password which does not solve my predicament of a decoder on my name I do not want. I requested to speak to her manager as she is utterly useless and she told me her manager is in a meeting and will request her to calle back. She advised that she will investigate and call me back within 2 days. That was Wednesday Im writing this review on Saturday.

I must say this is poor service from Multichoice that has left a sour taste is my mouth.

The supervisor Susan speaks over the client on the phone and does not offer solutions but more peoblems. I was promised a call back which never happened and that shows poor service.

Sort this mess out because I need to get moving.
