After sending a response to a TV ad I was contacted by MNET regarding their 'EXPLORA Offer' and after giving them my entire life history and information in order to \Qualify' was told that I had been 'Refused' the offer because I was 'Under Debt Review'' by a Company called 'Credit Matter' / Mogamet Ardiel Theinissen in CPT - I have never been under debt review in my life. I contacted Trans Union and the NCR it was confirmed that my record was clear (I have my Credit Report to confirm this). The Multichoice sales consultant gave me the details of the 'so called company mentioned above who had me listed as under debt review - I called them and spoke to one of their managers Mirian Martin and she told me I was not under debt review with them and they had no record of me whatsoever - I wasted a lot of time trying to sort this out as the number they gave me for the company was also incorrect - To me this offer is a TOTAL CON and misleading advertising for some reason only known to Multichoice - I own my own property have 2 credit cards and open clothing accounts it isnot possible that I am under debt review - DSTV is not worth the money it charges anyway roll on Pay TV"
This practice is still ongoing and ACCORDING to DSTV I'm still under debt review dispite me faxing my Trans Union Report to them twice
