Adding a third to Xtraview not as simple as it sounds

So adding a third decoder to Xtraview is a complete nightmare. To start with, when looking into adding the third decoder I mistakenly broke the connection with the secondary decoder, which admittedly was my fault. But as easy as that connection was to break, it was impossible to reconnect. The self help app did not help in reconnecting, going through DSTV care's pre-prepared responses took me nowhere as they had me unplugging and replugging cables, rebooting the decoder, looking at settings and resending the signal to connect it, nothing helped. Eventually I had to have a technician in which cost me R950 to sort it out. So ok, now the secondary decoder is reconnected, we're still not even at the third decoder. For this I had to fill in a form, a technician came out who connected everything (again). Last night an error message pops up on third decoder "waiting for communication from primary decoder" ... I contact DSTV care, they tell me that they will unlink the decoder and relink it. The next minute both the secondary and third decoder are unlinked and not linking back. From DSTV care's side, they say everything is working, on my side I now have two tvs with no dstv, all kinds of obscure ****** error messages popping up and the self service app which also shows me that I now only have one decoder connected to this whole mess. I am most definitely not paying to get another technician in to deal with all this. In fact if it weren't for the other dependants in the household who still watch DSTV, I would have cancelled it and just stuck to my streaming services, which seem to work no problem since all you need to do is enter a password and voila! you are watching your programs. I have been told that someone from technical assistance will be contacting me today and I sincerely hope they can sort this mess out, but how absolutely disappointing is the DSTV technology that something they advertise as being so simple and happening so easily turns into such a torturous experience.
