Account Payment

I have an account in my name but parents were paying. They stopped paying without informing me, so I paid the outstanding balance this morning. I expected to be reconnected because of this payment, I then phoned the call centre asking if they can track the payment. She said no. I then asked if I can send the proof of payment so that they can use the Payment ID, which i then sent to the e-mail the agent provided me with. She then asked if i can check if we back on, I said no, it shows an E143 error. She then informed me that it will come right in a few minutes. I then did a LIVE chat to get my smart cards connected to my account, as the agent was busy I saw anoth person added onto my account with the surname Shobo. I informed the agent and he said there is a glitch in my account and has then escalated it. I chatted again to someone asking them to track my payment, she then escalated it to Finance which takes up to 48 hours. I made a promise to pay on the 25th, which I did, and was informed once the outstanding balance is settled we will then be reconnected. No such thing happened. Why must this process be so long. I made a R100 payment a week or so ago while on LIVE chat and the agent could pick it up immediately. What the hell is the hold up now. WHy must I wait so long after I fulfilled my promise?
