Good day dstv.
As per page 5 of "The MultiChoice Subscription Terms and Conditions governing subscription by individuals for their private use (South Africa and Lesotho) (“Terms and Conditions”)" document subheading "Your Fees" point 8 that reads "We will provide the Service to you on a pre-paid basis" but also read together with point 9 to 11.
Why am I receiving calls from debt collectors to make arrangements for payment?
Please advise.
I could not find anywhere in your terms and conditions where you state that failure to make payment will result in the account being handed over, nor anywhere in your terms and conditions do you mention that you will keep the services running before suspending the account for which those days are billable.

Thank you for the feedback. I am however still not understanding why I am liable for the so-called outstanding amount. As per your terms and conditions, DSTV is a pre-paid service. My understanding of that is if I do not make payment my services will subsequently be suspended. I may not necessarily want to disconnect but for the period that I am not using your services why then do I need to pay?
I suppose the real question here is why were my services still active after I did NOT make a payment in January of 2020. Why was it not suspended as your terms and conditions imply?
