Absolutely the Worst Service of my life!
I am furious and very unhappy with DStv.
I phoned on Friday 8 March to do a Change of Ownership. The consultant I spoke to, Noluyo, told me I must complete the Change of Ownership form and email it with copy of both parties ID documents. I then asked how long it would take, she said 15minutes.
After sending the email I received my fist ref number, I then phoned in again later that evening and spoke to Asisipho, first asking that if my phone cuts out, will she phone me back and her reply was: I am not sure I can because I knock off at 9pm. I was on the line with her for about 45min. She advised that she is struggling to load the decoder and asked for the IUN number that is at the bottom of the machine, I attached a picture of that sticker to my email. Ther is no IUN number on the machine, the more I told her that it doesn't have one the more she argued it does. My phone cut out and no phone call was received back.
The next afternoon, 9 March I phoned again, this time speaking to Noxola, I explained my whole situation, the then explained that the decoder has a small card with a number on it. Also saying that nothing was changed or no comments was make on my profile.... so it seems like Asisipho did nit do anything that was asked. I then had to amend the forms and email it again. She then said they are struggling to load the decoder because the system gives them an error on the card. I asked that we then try another decoder that I have. I had to then redo all the documentation a email it again. This call was also almost 44min.
So, having faith in the last form and other decoder I phoned in again. This time speaking to a very friendly young man called Nhlakanipo, the call duration with him was 33minutes. He told me he loaded my forms, we did few changes and he said it will take about 24 hours for the change of Ownership. He escalated my request and gave me a ticket number: ***8. He said he is making a note to phone me back after 24hrs, I am awaiting his call...
Hoping everything was being processed I called in this morning, speaking to Phokozani, she told me no forms were loaded on my profile, again, and she had to load them... Struggling to load them, myself also being very frustrated, she asked if I tried handing in the form at an office. I explained that we live in the bush and we donot have a multichoice in out area. She went to the manager to help her load the forms.
Then, cherry on top.. She said the Change of Ownership takes 7-14 days!!
I told her that I am not happy about this and that I want to speak to a Manager or someone in charge. Putting me on hold for the 4rth time, she came back and said, the managers are busy with my forms and profile but it will take 7-14 days. They didn't even take my call..
I have wasted R300 airtime, wasted hours spending time on the phone and I still have no DStv services for the past 3 days.
Absolutely the worst services I have ever experienced in my life.
I am considering canceling my services!!
