Absolute ******* service
This must be one of the worst companies to to do business with. My father passed away recently and we wanted to transfer the account onto my mother's name. After going to a walk in centre, we were told to call the call centre. After doing so, we were told to send a number of documents which we did. The agent then informed us that we needed to go back to the walk in centre and send the docs there. We advised the agent we will not do so, because it is an inconvenience particularly since we were there. We also requested to speak to a team leader or manager, none were forthcoming. When we asked for the names of these "leaders" the agent advised she doesnt know as she is still on training. We remained persistent and asked to speak to anyone even a trainer, she then agreed to call someone and placed us on hold for more than 20 mins before eventually dropping the call.
It was recently reported that multichoice has lost over 100 000 clients on the premium subscription, so one would have thought with so much people unsubscribing, they would go out of their way to retain their existing subscribers. Clearly they dont value their clients, because if their nameless "leaders" cant interact with you then it proves they dont have a care in the world for their customers.
If multichoice doesnt value us as a client, I am happy to call it a day and move on to other streaming platforms like netflix and amazon prime. Their outdated business model, coupled with their exhorbitant fees is already a turnoff, the poor service is just the cherry on the cake.
