A simple change of ownership

The owner of the Decoder used to stay at the Douglasdale Retirement Village and he has passed away. His son gave me his Decoder and also furnished me all the necessary documents which is the death certificate and an ID copy. The Douglasdale Retirement Village says the Decoder doesnt belong to them,it belongs to the deceased and Dstv says the Decoder belongs to the Retirement Village.I'm sruggling to do a change of ownership.I have all the correspondence to support my case. So i indubitably believe that Multichoice have the authority to override change of ownership because they have all the supporting documents at their disposal. It also seems to me that at the start of capturing the owners details Dstv captured the details of the Retirement Village instead of the owner.
