3 months later, DSTV disconnects me, claiming I owe them from March!

<p>3 months ago (March 2016) I couldn't pay my Dstv account. As soon as I had money I downgraded my account and paid the balance. I paid for all the months after that and today they disconnect me. I called to ask why and I am told that their system forgot to record some balance back in March and now I have to pay today or I will be disconnected. On a monthly basis when I paid I settled the balance so everything was in order. I made sure to ask how much I owe so I can settle whatever is expected of me.</p> <p> </p> <p>My take is that this shouldn't be my problem. At best they must give me until the next billing period to settle this amount as I made sure I paid everything they say I should pay. They should, at least, have the descency to admit they are in the wrong and waiver me from paying that amount. At worst, I should be given until I get my next salary to pay.</p>
