Apparently Multichoice is changing from analog and this cause system errors. I have been an MNet subscriber for more than 15 years however I am now considering getting rid of TV altogether I am no longer going to pay for visual without sound and neither am I prepared to watch SABC rubish. DSTV and Mutichoice chose to ignore my plea for the past 3 days and I will now log a complaint with the consumer council and stop my service for which they are eagerly taking my money monthly. I am terribly disappointed and should more people feel the same I would like see how happy their satisfied shareholders will be in future?

Please be advised that MultiChoice is not changing analogue to digital. Digital migration is an existing change of broadcasting TV from analogue to digital technology globally. Digital broadcasting offers more channels as well as better picture and sound quality.
All over the world, and in the rest of Africa, countries have moved away from analogue broadcasting to digital. South Africa also moving to digital too. The benefits of digital broadcasting include;
· Better quality TV – better, clearer pictures and sharper sound quality, considering you currently the technical problem with visual and sound.
· More choice – for the first time, viewers will be able to access many free-to-air and other channels
· Electronic Programme Guide – this gives you a view of what is currently showing on the channel, as well as what is coming up next. You can also access an on screen TV guide to see what is on the different channels for the next week.
· All National Radio Stations
· HD Capability (as long as the TV and broadcasting channels are HD)
Digital television can be delivered in a number of different ways – either via a satellite or via land-based transmitters (this is known as Digital Terrestrial Television or DTT). You can choose how you want to receive digital television.
As our billing policy stipulates, we can only schedule for your Analogue service to cancel on your next payment – 19 January 2017. Furthermore, we highly recommend that you have the decoder tested at the nearest MultiChoice branch or agency.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us.
Best regards
Dinah
