12 Month Service Nightmare

I had an annual payment arrangement by debit order for my DStv subscription which last went off on 26 July 2015. After I was overcharged by R880 and escalated my complaint on hellopeter after having no success with the call centre, it took a few months for me to finally be refunded the one month subscription I was overcharged. I thought this matter had been resolved until I received recent calls and messages that my account is overdue. Since then so much of my time and money has been spent on making calls to try and resolve this but I’m forced to concede failure. What appears to have happened is that when I received the R880 refund, Multichoice reduced a month’s subscription so despite having paid for 12 months, I’ve only been credited for 11 months. All I ask is that after almost a year of queries that 1) my account be corrected so that nothing is reflected as owing until 26 July 2016 and 2) that my payment method then be updated to a monthly debit order from 26 July 2016. Although I have previously requested the monthly debit order option, the last call centre agent I spoke to advised me that my payment method was erroneously changed to cash. If these two seemingly simple items could be addressed, I would be extremely grateful as none of the multitude of Multichoice employee I've had contact with over the last year appear to have been capable of sorting this out.

Dear Loretta
We confirm your account was adjusted accordingly, your next payment is due 26th July 2016 and your charge period is on monthly as requested.

Dear Dinah,
Following your calls to me to confirm that my account had been corrected and everything was in order, my DSTV service was promptly disconnected on 16 July. I then called the call centre whose number I know off by heart as I must have made in the region of 20 lengthy calls over the last 12 months trying to resolve this issue. I was then told that my account was still reflecting as being in arrears so I gave the full story for what it feels like the hundredth time as I was told I could not speak to you directly as calls can't be transferred. The service was then reconnected only to be disconnected again this morning. I then called the call centre and spoke to Theodorah who, following my explanation, reconnected the service and has tried to clear the arrears as well as the two reconnection fees as it appears that I have been charged two reconnection fees by Multichoice just to add insult to injury. However, I understand this is still subject to approval. This has to be one of the worst customer services experiences I have ever had in my life from any company both public and private. I honestly thought that when Multichoice realised the hell they've unnecessarily put me through due to no fault of my own, they would go out of the way to formally apologise, resolve this and even try to make up for it with some sort of incentive or compensation (perhaps a month free service) as I felt that was the least they could do due to all the interruptions I've received for a service I paid for in full. Instead, I still continue to fight to receive the service I paid for with what appears to be little or no success.
