Taken for a ride by DStv installers

I installed a DStv explora3. Bought the unit at hifi corp and called the first installer. They told me I have an old dish , the work was done and R3900 later on top of the R1300 I paid for the decoder.

2 months later , I get an error message. I lost the numbers of the first installer , I get a new installer to clear the error message. Dstv masters I get them via the internet and say I need a 20 meter cable since the old one burned and says the dish has a missing ***** from the previous installer.

I then pay R1600 because the lnb is faulty. I feel like I am taken for a ride here. 4 months of paying DStv premium but zero watching. I am not happy because an installer work carries a warranty and when I call John , he blames the old ***** from the 1st installer.

How much money must one bleed. I called DStv department to report this and they said I must write via hello Peter and they will contact me.

I am taken for a ride here. How much more should I spend? Each call out fee is R350. How many times must be experience this ? Hurt and disappointed at the same time.
