Dishonest dealer

<p>I needed someone to repair my laptop and came across Des through gumtree. He came to my house and fixed my laptop however all my data was erased (not his fault), he promised to install latest software on my laptop and to download some music for me. I then gave him my laptop, that was 18 November 2016.</p> <p>I have been nagging him for my laptop since then, then earlier this year he informed me that my laptop crashed and promised to repair it, I as a good Samaritan asked him not to buy a new one but a second hand as mine was also not new, he promised to bring it end of February, then end of March still nothing from him. I promised to take him to the police and he assured me that my laptop would be posted that same day through speed services, 06 April he sent me a tracking number, when I called speed services they told me that number doesn't exist. I tried tracking the parcel online and was informed that that parcel was collected 2013 already. </p> <p>I then decided to Google his company, to my shock I realized that Des *******ly used my name to write a positive review of his company on Hellopeter, as I looked closer I realized he wrote several reviews praising his company. I told him that I was aware of this and he told me it's another Lungi Jonas who's his other customer, I assure you there are a very few Lungi Jonas' out there, less than a handful. </p> <p>I told him I'm definitely taking him to the police and he threatened to sue me, for what I don't know.</p> <p>Des is not to be trusted, I'm a struggling teacher and a single mother, I can't afford to buy another laptop, I'm also studying and I can't afford to go to the internet cafe every time I have to hand in my assignments or complete my planning. </p>
