staffatitude towards paying clients
I brought my daugter and requested an xray of her wrist .I was told no I need to see the doctor first before they will do any xray .i will insist to the doctor that we want an xray to be 100 % sure there is no problem so even when going to the doctor I will still return .i am the client that will be paying the final acount can.t believe that you don't welcome the business when I said so don't you need the business I was told that it is not a business it is a service .wow only eskom and you don't want to be used? The office only opened 08h15 as well and aparently this is a regular thing .would like to see how you feel about this I was shocked to hear this and wasz considering going elsewhere .If your staff only do xrays for the doctors then maybe the doctors should pay the acounts ? Since they are the clients then?
Our practice prescribes to standards that are accepted nationally and internationally. We are diagnostic radiologists that do not examine patients as per your normal Specialist or General Practitioners. Each patient must be examined and assessed to determine the area of the requested x-ray. Asking for an x-ray of the wrist without the necessary medical training is counter-productive. The fracture could be in the elbow, forearm or wrist. Who determines what the correct area of concern is?
