Overcharged for an ultrasound!

I needed to do a prostate ultrasound on 23-Sept-2022. I called both the Life Wilgeheuwel and Life Flora branches who quoted me R1 260 for the test.

I went to the Life Flora branch as they had an opening around 15:00.

My medical aid processed their claim on 03-Oct-2022 for R1 373.50.

Upon calling the Life Wilgeheuwel branch today, the lady then tells me the price is R975.

I just tried calling their accounts query line twice and the phone just rings. Email also does not work as I had mailed on Monday, 03-Oct-2022.

Not only have I been over-charged, it seems like they make up their prices as I received a much cheaper rate today.

They need to reimburse for the difference as this is unacceptable!
