Pathologist charges

Good day<br> I have enquired with Du Buisson and Partners about an account received from them. The rates they are charging is more than 60% than the allowed medical aid fund rates. How can they justify this? They leave patients with red faces and bills of more than R1 500.00 which I cannot afford to pay. The next thing is that I will get numerous calls from debt collectors etc.<br> All I ask is at least to reconsider the amount payable by the patient and inform me accordingly.<br> I have done my research and homework, I now know that there are other pathology service providers who in fact charged according to prescribed medical aid rates. <br> At the time the Dr utilized the services of Du Buisson, I was under operation therefor I could not enquire about it.
