Ampath will rob you clean and stand for it

Soon I will be reporting these pathologists for ripping the innocent off. I received an outstanding amount of R964.12 to pay. These pathologists have been sending me emails, letters and every form of communication they can to annoy me.

This amount was R5000 and more when I initially received it. I enquired with the medical aid as to why it was not paid. The medical aid said incorrect codes were entered. The lab rectified that and the medical aid paid. Now they came back with the stated balance. When I phone them its either they are rude or not willing to converse further. Today I spoke to Liah at Ampath who would not give me a chance to explain and kept talking lies to me stating that they requested 3 different panels on code 3974 and the medical aid rejected 1 because they only pay for 2.

*** Wandile from Bonitas stated with clarity and conviction that the lab was supposed to send the code 3974 twice because the doctor requested it twice but they sent it 3 times. Meaning the lab made a mistake. So Bonitas paid twice as they were supposed to. Instead of owning up to their error and fix it, they still maintain that I should pay. Which makes me wonder how much money have they ripped us off and many more patients.
