****s, False Accusiations and Harrassment of Patients

On 22/05/2018 my mom was sent to Dr Bloch and Partners Inc aka Sandton Radiology at Morningside Mediclinic for X-Ray of thoracic spine, cervical spine,lumber spine, pelvis, right and left knees. We received an invoice for Account A*** of R2884.00 informing us that the medical aid did not pay due to funds being exhausted. I physically went to Drs Bloch & Partners Inc a.k.a Sandton Radiology at Morningside Mediclinic to make a payment for R600 at their account department. The following week I received a phone call, sms and email from Accounts Collections Pty (Ltd) informing me that this account that was handed over to them by Drs Bloch & Partners Inc. I informed Mavis who was allocated the account that I physically went to Dr Bloch and Partners in Morningside to make a payment of R600 the previous week and was surprised that the account was handed to Debt Collectors. I emailed her proof of payment and we agreed on a payment plan of R600 monthly to settle the outstanding balance of R2284.00 which was reconciled to take into account the R600 i paid by card at Morningside Mediclinic Radiology. I never missed a single payment including the additional amount still due for R259 that I paid to settle the account. Howver I continued to receive constant letters from Drs Bloch & Partners threatening legal action for the same account that was paid up. I repeatedly sent them settlement/paid up letter from Mavis of Accounts Collections Pty (Ltd). The proof of payment was sent to Busi Mgaga of Morningside Mediclinic ***, Mavis of Accounts Collections Pty (Ltd) at ***, *** for Dr Bloch & Partners Morningside/Parkmore Accountsdepartment, Claudine in Morningside Mediclinic at ***,Drs Bloch & Partners Sandton Mediclinic Radiology ***. On 26/03/2020 we received an sms claiming we owe them R600 for this account that had been settled in full in 2019 January and later received an sms notification that they sent the sms erroneously and apologised for the error. On 29/05/2020 my mom went to Sandton Radiology at Sandton Mediclinic for an ultrasound and biopsy, she went back on 4/06/2020 for chest X-ray and we were told that there was an outstanding amount of R600. I again sent them proof of paid up letter but were insistent that the account was in arrears and were not willing to proceed with the x-ray. I calming informed the account department lady at Sandton Mediclinic that they need to stop the madness because they're ****ing me off. I sent her paid up letter received from Mavis of Accounts Collections Pty (Ltd) as proof told her I didn't have time for their craziness. The chest x-ray was done but no surprise we received another "Final Notice" letter on 05/06/2020 threatening legal action for the same paid up account Invoice 712877 amount of R600 if we don'tpayup within 10 days. I emailed everyone in this list attaching paid up letter received from Mavis of Accounts Collections Pty (Ltd). I also informed Dr Bloch & Partners that I will be taking legal steps/civil legal action for false accusations, harassment, libel and defamation of character. Dr Bloch & Partners are known and accustomed to falsely accusing patients for non payment long after the account is fully settled. This is unacceptable and they will be held accountable for their actions.
