Really poor food complimented by even worse service!

<p>I was extremely disappointed by the service & quality of food my family & I received last night. We arrived at 18:50, after standing at the door for 5 minutes, someone finally came over to greet us, the lady told us that they are not allowing anybody in as they are fully seated, yet, there were tables empty in plain sight. She then proceeded to take our names down & made us along with many other people wait outside in the cold. It was freezing outside, yet we were not allowed in, despite there being many empty chairs. <br />I saw almost 6 people get up & decide to eat elsewhere, while almost 15 people were turned away at the door.</p> <p>We sat out there for until 8PM when I complained to another gentleman that my mum is sickly & her chest was getting heavier being out in the cold. This chap, kindly allowed us to sit at an empty table near the entrance, we were only properly seated & had our orders taken at 20:10 PM.</p> <p>EVENTUALLY... The food came, it was certainly not worth the wait. The quality was below poor, it tasted even worse than it looked. The beef was overcooked, the Cheese & Mushroom Sauce tasted like the instant "just add water" sauces & the onion rings were SOAKED in oil. The food looked like it was literally just thrown on a plate, I understand & appreciate the need for efficiency, but this doesn't justify the service or the food. Oh & lets not forget that the two glasses of Sprite that my mum & brother ordered tasted like they had been watered down.</p> <p>Guys, regardless of the price, please do not put your company name on something that isn't up to standard. All you're doing is bringing your brand down. My family and I eat out regularly, but this was a really bad experience for us.</p>
