Not worth it

We attended a 6 year old birthday party at Dros Vanderbijlpark yesterday (24 February) and was totally disgusted with the service and will never have my kids party there.

All started when we got there and ordered two tins of cold drinks for two kids on a separate bill. 30min after ordering we finally received it but only after looking for the waitress and asking once again where the tins were.

After that The kids ordered food where my daughter who is a type 1 diabetic was the only one who didn't order pizza and had to order ribs and chips. Anyway about 40min later I went to the guy who was our waiter (wish I took his name) to ask when food will be out as my daughters sugar was DANGEROUSLY low. He then told me the pizza was in the oven but told me the ribs were done. I asked him to please bring the food and he clarified saying if he can bring it before the other food and I said yes as my daughter really needs to eat. Ten minutes later my daughter still doesn't have food and then all of a sudden the pizzas come out for the other kids. I then ask the waiter and he says it is coming but obviously annoyed. Finally my daughter gets her food without cutlery where I have to go look for anyone to give me cutlery so I can cut the ribs.

Then my friend who ordered the drinks had to go look for the waitress to try and pay for the tins ordered when we arrived. We couldn't find her at all. Another guy helped and printed out a bill that we could pay.

The play area is amazing and the kids love it but it doesn't help when the service is pathetic because even though my kids loved it I will not put myself in that situation again to be annoyed with the lack of service.

Very disappointed.
