Dros Tygervalley's rude owner

<p>My friend and I went to the Dros last night at 7.50pm to have a meal and watch my beloved Liverpool in the Europa Final, well we never got in the door.</p> <p>To cut a long story short we were rudely stopped coming through the door, which we noticed had signs on it stating "Special - out of stock", being sternly told by a young lady "the restaurant is full". This was while we had just watched between 30 and 40 people pouring out next to us, which I pointed out to her, and we were then told rudley "there is no food left!" while behind her waiters were delivering trays of food to different tables.</p> <p>I then put two and two together and pointed out that we were not there to have a "special" but to have dinner and a few drinks while watching the football (which was obvious given that we were both in Liverpool kit, including jackets and scarves) - to which the young lady responded loudly that that was what lots of people say .. and they then order the special!... and closed the door in our faces.</p> <p> </p> <p>We walked away for a minute and then thought "no" don't accept this type of rude treatment, so walked back and when the door opened I asked the young lady what her name was? "Lisa/Liesha? - I AM THE OWNER" - which I have to assume she thought made everything all right. </p> <p> I now pointed out that we are regular customers coming for a normal meal and drinks to enjoy the sport, and believe that her being the owner she should realise that she was exceptionally rude to us when she imp**** we were trying to get inside to order the "special".</p> <p> </p> <p>Well suprise, suprise, she stated that what people do and said she can't let us in, followed by an insincere apology and closed the door again.</p> <p> </p> <p>I found out today that the Dros had a hamburger special on last night which no doubt caused them to be run off their feet, but THE OWNER of DROS TYGERVALLY needs some serious client service ettiquette training if that business in ever going to survive. </p> <p> </p> <p>We and our group of friends will be taking our Sporting Suppers elsewhere.</p>
