Disgusting service

I booked a table at the Dros in Alberton on Monday 4th of July 2022 for 17:30.

Everything was in order until we ordered food around 18:00. Our wonderful waiter informed us that there is a special on Mondays its a monster double burger with cheese and bacon and you receive a flying fish alcoholic drink with it. We then explain to him the majority of the table doesn’t consume alcohol and that two of them was under age children he said he will ask the manager to replace with soft drink or coffee. So 10 people ordered the monster burgers. After about 15 mins after we ordered our food the waiter came back and said that they cant swop the drink they can only give the alcohol that goes with the special which i find strange what about the 2 kids. We then hade to order extra drinks for 8 people. We were waiting for more than an 35 min for our food were upon we asked what is happening its been a long time and the restaurant was not busy at all. Nevertheless the food arrived 50 min later and cold. I took my so called monster burger apart to try and see were the patty is well i did find it under a slice of tomato that's how small it was , called and show the waiter he said he is calling the owner, she never came total disaster for my wife birthday but yes that is the service we getting in South Africa now.

Not the first time I complained about there service and attitude but it will definitely be the last time i go there and will make sure people know about this.

I did report this to the regional manager that rep**** back to me and said the owner of that store will contact me, till today i haven't heard from anyone again.
