Chair broke and manager couldnt be bothered

Dear Dros Franchise

On the 12th Jan 2016 friends and I visited the Dros Waterkloof in Pretoria. Time was 14:45. We are all above 50 and settled down for drinks and a bite to eat. The left arm rest on my chair was broken. Although poor show from the Dros, I was not worried. After chatting for about 20 min, my chair suddenly just collapsed from under me, breaking into pieces. Putting me flat on my backside. I got up, picked the pieces up, and placed them to the side. Took another chair from an adjacent table and sat down. The waiter, standing at the door, just stood there looking at me. Just then the manager (Wikus) came out to see what the fracas was all about. The waiter told him. Wikus, now also standing in the door way, just looked at me and turned around and went back to what he was doing.

Well Wikus - thank you for the concerns, or rather lack thereof. You could at least have come to ask if I was ok. But no, in good South African tradition - ***** the customer. Just pay your bill and be gone. We were very disappointed in Wikus's manner. Needless to say, the word has been spread. Give Dros Waterkloof wide berth. To the Dros Franchise - poor show!
