Expired butter by a year served to customers

It is absolutely appalling to come to the realization that a restaurant can serve you expired products and not be apologetic about it. I was served butter that was expired by over a year (exp Jan 2020) and when brought to managers attention "Natasha" all she had to say is "butter does not expire" and bluntly wallked away. I mean how could one be so ******** and careless about the harm that the product could bring to an individuals well being. This goes against all acceptable food safety measures according to SANS10091. If nothing else they deserve their food safety certification revoked.
