Dros - Canal Walk - Mouse
To whom it may concern
Tonight on the 4th September 2017, My husband and myself took my cousin and his wife out for his birthday meal. He was so looking forward to it. As we finished our starters and having our beverages my husband noticed something in the corner of his eye and actually just thought it was a lizard or gheko or something in that line. ( Basically he saw something flash by him very quickly with a tail).
To our surprise, by the wine bottles that Dros has As a feature wall we see a little mouse staring at us for a period of time. My cousin and myself managed to take a picture and we where disgusted. We felt very uneasy about this and the party, very quickly came to an end.
We informed the waiter whom by then brought our main meals and informed him that he needs to not take this lightly and call the manager we informed him that we just saw a mouse and showed him the picture.
The manager came to our table very noneshalon and never minded. He then informed us that he is aware of the issue and they have placed poison down in the restaurant and therefore the mice are now ALL running away from the Poison. Then he remarked and said it is not like we keep them as pets they are aware of the problem and he is really sorry.
This is NOT Acceptable, first of all. We saw one mouse. I did not need to know there where more than one and that they where All coming out and running away from the poison ( How many do you actually have???)
Second of all what mouse runs away from the poison, if they are running away from the poison then Vok what other restaurants in Canal Walk has mice or have they ran into the Spur which is in arms length.
Mice usually eat poison and then die, if they are all hinding behind the wine bottles and dying is the restaurant planning to clear all of those wine bottles away and dust and clean behind there.
How do these restaurants get away with this!! Should the doors not be closed until the pest or rodent issue is under control, before they are even allowed to reopen there doors again and start serving clients food.
This was very disturbing and I will not be going back until I am 100% sure that Dros has no more mice issues.
But how do we know!!!!
As the manager said they are All running away from the poison. When there doors are closed down at night time where are they All running around too.
I am shocked and very disturbed by this incident and i would like someone to take this more seriously and to take this further!!!
