Droneworld supplies defective drone and fails to rectify

I bought a Dji Mavic pro drone from the company, which unfortunately found to be defective when delivered. I reported the fault to the salesman Dylan Tunmer, who referred the matter to repairs. Ashley from repairs made for a pick-up by Monday the 10th December for them to attend. No pick-up has happened and since Wednesday the 12th December emails inquiring about the pick-up have gone un-answered. It is now Monday the 17th as i write and it now appears that in-spite of paying for a Drone on the 5th of December, I will not have one operational on during 2018! I can't bare to think of the disappointment of my grandchildren.

I find it shocking that Droneworld can show such a shamefully uncaring attitude towards its customers!

Good Day Mr Mohapeloa,  Thank you for taking my call today.  We are truly sorry for your experience, This is not the normal service we get from our Courier Company, they are normally very quick with collections. This is the first time our courier company has failed us in this way.  I have contacted our rep at the courier company and she will have some feedback for me in the morning. As promised, I will call you tomorrow with an update and have this matter resolved. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused and I will ensure that the collection takes place.  Please do not hesitate to call us for any further assistance.   Regards, Natasha. Customer Care. ***.

Reviewer Update
The customer care team - Natasha and Ncebekazi, responded promptly following my complaint on Hellopeter and the drone was collected sometime later. Apparently there was no fault with the controller, something that the after-sales staff (repairs team in their instance) could have dealt with over the phone if they had been available - seemingly there are only two people performing this task -Mike and Ashley who are out flying most of the time. The drone was finally returned dropped with security on Friday the 21st December after my departure on holiday. I am now flying, unfortunately with tips from a different supplier - there is still an email that repairs@droneworld has yet to responded to. I think it would help Droneworld if a) They reinforced their after sales team beyond the current two staff. b) A better coordination with their courier team - time was lost as the courier dropped the ball. Thankfully, there is no technical problem with the drone at this point.
