Dont Buy DJI Products from this Company!!! They will not support you!
I was having 'IMAGE TRANSMISSION" Issues with a DJI SPARK.
I was using the Controller Setup which is supposed to give you up to 2km Range. I have not been able to get more than 180m before losing the Image Transmission. "ASHLEY" in "Repairs" had my Unit for almost a month & could not resolve the issue. After Collecting the Unit Today, I saw that they had not even tested my Controller as the WiFi Password had not been Reset.
I spoke to the Manager at the "SEA POINT" Branch at Length! He said they are having Multiple issues with the SPARK. So why are you selling them then, I Asked?? Why do you not Remove it from your Site?? They take no responsibility & have no solutions!
I AM WANTING A FULL REFUND AS THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY!!
He said its not their Problem! Its DJI's.
Absolutely USELESS!!
They have multiple branches in SOUTH AFRICA & are expanding at their SEA POINT Branch.
Do not support them or Buy anything from them!

There is a large discrepancy when it comes to flight ranges and DJI Drones.
DJI advertises their flight ranges when the transmitters are FCC compliant,
and this spec is mainly legal in America, as they allow a higher power
transmitter than the rest of the world does.
As a result, when a DJI Drone detects that it in a zone that does not allow the FCC compliant transmitter
power, it will downscale it so that it is compliant with CE regulations.
This is controlled by the GPS coordinates that the drone registers when it
starts up. CE stands for Central Europe and is used in most countries
including South Africa.
If you take a look at the DJI site, you will see that under their specs page they have a range for FCC AND CE, and since in
South Africa these drones switch to CE compliant automatically, the CE range
is the correct one to expect when flying a DJI Spark.
The DJI site states that in perfect conditions, with absolutely no interference (whether its
wifi and cellphone signals[or other], including the signal of your own
device, or even metal in the soil and surrounding area) the DJI Spark can
achieve a range of up to 500m when set to transmit on 2.4 GHz and up to 300m
when set to transmit on 5.8 GHz.
Even then you need to consider that the aerials need to be oriented 90 degrees towards the drone to achieve maximum
range. We understand that the performance of this product did not line up to
your expectations but this information is readily available. Please see this

We have tested your controller via OTG cable as it does not require a password hence why you saw
that your password was not reset. A full test was done to the drone by the
repair center at many places to test signal. We also offered you the Durango
Range Extender which will help boost the signal strength which you declined
to take after we informed you that the 2km is only in America. According to
the DJI specifications your Spark does perform as per the CE regulations and
so a refund or returning the Drone is not possible.
