Sale under false pretences

During week of 10 June 2019 I was dealing with Joe from Droid Worx (www.droidworx.co.za) in Umtentweni regarding a package they advertised, consisting of a huawei router and media box pro with a monthly fee of less than R300 for uncapped LTE network sim, which he assured us we have coverage in our area. On 19 June Joe came to deliver the package, however, he then informed us that we DO NOT have coverage for for the smaller sim package, but that we definitely have Cell C coverage, however the cheapest package we can get will be R599 pm for uncapped through Tech Global. We decided to accept that, as he assured us we will have coverage - he checked it! We paid Joe R2600 cash for the router and media box AND we had to pay R998 there and then, via EFT, to Tech Global for the CellC LTE service and sim, which we would receive within 3 to 5 working days. We only received the sim on 9 July and FOR 3 DAYS WE STRUGGLED TO GET IT TO WORK!! Just to be told in the end that we also have NO COVERAGE for Cell C, but now we have to try Telkom!! We requested our money back for the router and media box, as we bought this because Joe assured us we have coverage, something we clearly did not have!! He refuses to give us our money back and take his products back, as he says his products are not the issue, but the network coverage and should we get ADSL from TELKOM, it will work! If we wanted TELKOM, I would have gone straight to them instead of enquiring and buying the package from Droid Worx!! If Joe did his homework properly instead of just trying to sell his product as quickly as possible and under false pretences of checked network coverage, we WOULD NEVER HAVE BOUGHT THE ROUTER AND MEDIA BOX!!!
