Driving Force Wynberg and Ryan the king of attitudes!

Just thought id share my experience in regards to Driving Force in Wynberg. My wife and i went to view a car. Thats right, we just went to view a car. The salesman Ryan had a serious attitude when we first met him. I decided to look pass that as he may have had a ruff day. Nope, the bad attitude continued throughout our meeting. Once he heard that we wanted to finance the car, he started with "why not sell your car and then come buy this car" or "lets just finance this car and then you have two cars". I plainly said that by me selling my own car, i was doing his job. Going to a dealer and paying more for a car is perfectly normal as they work on getting settlement figures etc, working out a deal and then getting a client into a new car. Thats pretty standard practice. But, not this guy. He made it very clear that he wanted us to walk away or just buy the car outright. I was still patient at this point. No need to raise blood pressure. Then after hes excuses, he finally agrees to have a look at our car with much decent. He then starts fault finding. Again, dealers do this and is pretty normal. Then walks away. He comes back saying he will offer Rx amount. Numbers dont seems right. I tell him this and hes like " thats what it is". All with a new found hate for speaking to us. I at that point said, its cool, let us leave this deal as cars for sale in SA is a a dime a dozen. At no point did Ryan make any effort to help us. I got the feeling he was looking for a quick sale.( Again nothing wrong with that), but to literally chase clients way, is not good for business. The previous rep we spoke to was such a cool guy and was super helpful. Pity he was off. Lastly, Ryan whom we dealt with, is the same rep that was supposed to help me about 3 years ago. Pretty much the same thing happened. Guess track records speaks for itself.
