Execution of Unauthorized work, holding the client liable for additional costs

<p>Driveshaft centred committed to resolving my power steering issue I have on my BMW. A quote included the renewal of the power steering pump. I accepted the quote only to find out that a more expensive pump was fitted without getting the go-ahead from me. I was held liable to pay the difference which i did. Upon colleciton of the car, I informed Driveshaft Centre that the power steering pump was noisy. We agreed that I return the car the next week to have it resovled. On the day of retunring the car, an even more expensive pump was installed (without authorization from me) and now I am liable for the addittional cost again. Driveshaft Centre now refuses to release my car. I have now made alternative travel arrangements which costs me more while they are holdiong onto my car. </p> <p>In additiona, Driveshaft Centre have now said that the power steering pump no longer carries the 12 month guarentee. At the time of accepting the quote, it was stated via email that the pump will carry the full 12 month guarantee. </p> <p> </p>
