Licence Department Kudos

5 years ago I had a proper nightmare experience trying to renew my drivers license, especially dealing with mile long queues and unfriendly staff. On Sunday afternoon at 15h00 I went to RTMC Centurion to renew my drivers license. All I had was my proof of address and a copy of my current drivers licence. I had photographs as well but this is no longer required. At the time, I was literally the only person there. From being warmly greeted at reception to walking out of there with a temporary drivers licence took no more than 15 minutes. The staff is super friendly, efficient and helpful. What a pleasant experience from 5 years ago. This is one government department that got it right! Well done to everybody)
