Worst driving "school" ever.

When I was taught how to drive I only needed my license, however I had to go for a few "touch-up" lessons to help me pass the test. We found Drive to Thrive on Facebook at the time who was promoting 4 lessons for over R 2000,00. This was also supposed to include the booking. However, when I went for the lessons, the "instructor" was constantly texting and taking calls, rude and impatient and told me I'd never pass the test and I would need a few more lessons. After finishing my 4 lessons I requested a booking but he was never responsive to my multiple requests. 3 Months later with no appointment and my learners about to expire, my mother decided to call and ask what is going on. After a rude outburst he got me an appointment but I still had to drive very far to confirm the booking, which was supposed to be included in the whole package. On the day of the test, I didn't even make it past the yard test with him having reassured me that if I pass the yard test, the road test is nothing since I also asked him how to do an emergency brake as well as the various hand-signals, which he also did not teach me. I decided to take matters into my own hands and made another booking for the following day and when I got home I contacted a reputable driving school, Fun 4 All Driving and in 2 hours they taught me everything I needed to know to pass. The next day I got my license. It seems as though Drive to Thrive is only out to make a quick buck instead of really helping learners how to pass their tests. I would not recommend them even if they did it for free.
