Return Policy Bad Service Consumer doesn’t have any recourse

Bought a pair of Nike Airforce one shoes online and received the shoes but they started pulling apart after one month. There return policy is on the website however after numerous attempts via whatsapp and email I have not been able to return the shoes or get a refund. There is no way that a pair of shoes that you pay alot of money for can last one month and then start pulling apart.
