Terrible advice & worse choice & service

Bring used to the service at the JHB shop, I was shocked at how bad it was at this store. The attitude!!!

Then once I did get assistance and after a very long process of trying & explaining, I bought supposedly their best boots at a hefty price. Supposed to be the greatest boots they could offer me.

I have however, finished my last two hikes, crying like an infant, from the pain and state of my feet. Despite using the best Merino wool socks they could sell me, these LA Sportium, gortex, boots are the worst I’ve used in 43 years of hiking. My feet are broken & in excruciating pain!! After experiencing this on my first hike, I went back to discuss this with the sales lady, and was told basically, tough luck!!! Paying al but 5K, 43 years of hiking experience, and I finish my last two hikes crying!!!!!
