Dressmaker Germain Willis

<p>I ordered a dress and bought material well in advance, beginning of Feb. Wedding date 23 April 2016</p> <p>Eventually this dress was only ready on the day we had to leave for the weddingvenue, which was 21 April 2016. There was no time to fit it and check it as it was only ready at the last minute. I only had a chance to look at it when we arrived on the 21st at the wedding venue and was shocked. It seemed to be uncompleted. Chiffon edges was not overlocked, it had a dirty patch in the front, the lace was just fastened with big loose stitches (temporary tack stitches) which already came loos when I was trying it on and struggled with the zipper, the chiffon kept on getting caught up in the zipper. It was much tighter than my last fitting when it was not yet stitched together. The capped sleeves was way too tight I could not even lift up my arms. The dart seams at the back near my hips were not of the same length, one being higher than the other.<br /><br />The lady at the wedding venue was very kind and fixed it so that I can at least wear it. She amongst others had to remove the capped sleeves</p> <p>I started contacting the dressmaker the day before the wedding and she still keeps on playing cat and mouse with me up to today withs is 20 Sep 2016. She insisted that she will fix the dress which is after the fact as she dropped me on the most important day of my daughters wedding. I humoured her and dropped off the dress in mid July, The dress is still with her and she always have an excuse.</p>
