Terrible Service from Dream Nails Kenilworth Centre

I'd like to share the horrible service I got at Dream Nails Kenilworth Centre. I went to them on the 24th of April for a special they had on gel nails. I called and made an appointment with them for 18h00 that evening as I had another appointment elsewhere at 17h00 so would rush off to them afterward. Unfortunately due to the bus strike and traffic jams on the road I only made it to them at 18h15 but I had called them at 17h55 to let them know I was stuck at the rail gate just down the road from them to which they said ok. So I get there and the receptionist literally had to beg the girls to do my nails...so the nail tech lady started then another lady offered to relieve her as she possibly (i assumed) lived far so had to rush off so she just did my soak off. Then another lady took over - her doing one hand and the other doing my left hand. By the end of the nails prepping I had my nails two different lengths...but I was happy with the shorter one as that is my preference anyway. So when I asked the lady on my left shorten she become a tad aggressive with her colleague asking her how she would seal the nails at that short length...(which I found a bit unprofessional as I'm right there!)...ANYWAY nothing we can do about that right so let's keep on with the story. So nails get done...gel app****...at this point, I honestly already feel bad cause I can see that everything is being rushed...sweeping and mopping happening all around me by the receptionist lady, constant comments about the last taxi time...so when I was finished paid and left. So next morning I actually really took a closer look at my nails...job is a tad sloppy...some corners seem to have missed gel application and a few air bubbles here and there. So I call them and complain...a lady called Chenel attends to me and we make another booking for 17h30 for aother day after work. Would you believe that I only got a call at 17h15 on the day in question to cancel due to the same transport issue for the staff...while I was literally a 5 minute drive away from them - had to turn back. So a nice lady called Priscilla called me and apologised again and even promised me a free treatment on top ...told her I would get back to her and we agreed on a tentative booking I think for a Sat but nothing was confirmed as I usually am away for weekends and would not be easy to drive all the way to Kenilworth just to do my nails from Khayelitsha. So to end off my story - to date I still have not heard from dream nails. I just called them now to inform them of their bad service and that I would be doing a review on here on them. One thing for sure - I will never be using their services again - and will definitely be sharing my experience with them on my social media pages as well as word of mouth!
