Poor Service at Dream Nails Campus square spoils a good weekend.

<p>I am a regular client of the Dream Nails branch at Campus Square in Auckland Park, I often have my lash extensions done there when I have an occasion to attend. On Monday, 24th of April - I made an appointment to for Wednesday, 26th at 5pm to for an appointment for individual lash instalments. While I was running my errands in an effort to get everything done a day before my friend's wedding, I popped into Dream Nails (at the Campus Square) at about 4.40pm that Wednesday to inform them that I might be running roughly 10 min late for my appointment, which was scheduled at 5pm. I made my way to Parktown to run a quick errand and made it to Dream Nails around 5.12pm. Upon arrival, I stood at the reception desk and noticed that every assistant in the store was busy, I then looked over at one of the ladies who was busy with a client and she asked how she can help. I informed her that I am here for my appointment as I mentioned when I came around 4.40pm that same day and she asked me what the appointment was for. I then told her that it's for the instalment of individual lashes and she looked confused. She asked another assistant if she had capacity and that assistant shook her head. Another lady came to the front in the midst of the conversation and said that the lady who specialises in lash extensions did not pitch for work. I honestly don't understand how that is my problem!</p> <p> </p> <p>I told them that I am a brides**** at a wedding the following morning and that I urgently need to get my lashes done because the wedding is far and starts quite early. The lady who came onto the scene a little late claims that she had been trying to call me all morning. However, my phone was off. This is of course untrue because my phone had been on all day and I do not recall missing any calls. Very disappointed, I expressed my dissatisfaction and then they told me to try Sorbet's Dry Bar which recently opened within the same shopping complex.</p> <p> </p> <p>Needless to say, Sorbet was unable to help as a bulk of their staff was attending training for lash extension instalments. I must say that I am very disappointed with Dreams Nails – Campus Square. Every time I go there, something is not right. If it's not the owner of the store yelling at her staff in front of clients, the lady who installs lashes was slightly late for my previous appointment. The service is ridiculous. I just want Dream Nails to know that the Campus Square branch gives them a bad name. I am also a contributor to a lifestyle magazine and I am doing a piece on poor services is modern day business - I think Dream Nails is definitely a fitting example of such! Lastly, the attitude is also very lousy. The apology was half-baked and insincere. I think that moving forward, I need to explore different service providers. I am just so displeased about the fact that I spent a very busy weekend packed with events, without having done my lashes.</p>
