Drained My Wallet More Than My Drain

I cannot recommend The Drain Men (Table View) based on my experience. I have serious concerns about the accuracy of the time billed. In my view, I was charged for more time than the technicians actually spent working. A significant portion of the time—approximately 40 minutes—was spent sitting in their vehicle completing paperwork, yet this appeared to be included in the billable time. I also believe the job was deliberately extended so that the total billing reached three hours when, based on the actual work carried out, I believe it should have been closer to two hours. In addition, they performed what they described as a "complimentary" camera inspection of the drains, despite the fact that I had not requested this service. The time spent on that inspection appeared to contribute to the overall duration of the visit. Another major concern was that they spent well over an hour jet-washing approximately one metre of drain. In my opinion, this was excessive and resulted in the unnecessary use of more than a kilolitre of my water. Overall, I left feeling that I was overcharged and did not receive fair value for the service provided. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again or recommend them to others.
