I recognise his behaviour as described by the other 1-star reviewers. But I still rate Dr Omar 5-star

I am seeing Dr Yunoos Omar since 20 years. I value his expertise and sure judgment, honed over decades of experience. I guess if you want the best, you sometimes have to make concessions.

To give further evidence, for many years I saw Dr Omar at his Sandton City rooms. When Dr Omar stopped practising in Sandton, I could only see him at his Lister Building, Jeppe St rooms. I am sure readers can easily imagine that for most people from the Northern suburbs, Johannesburg downtown is a no-go area. And indeed it is wild. I nonetheless made the trip several times, as I didn't want to settle for less, or look for another dermatologist.

I guess it depends on what you want. I am not saying Dr Omar is lacking empathy, I didn't perceive him as such. But I can imagine that if you want a therapy session because of some ****le, you get this somewhere else. Dr Omar will take the ****le away, no time wasted.
